What if using November weekend to relax from the daily rush, information flow and fatigue of being online all the time. It is not that technology is not bad, it would be hard to live without it today. However, with continuous connection to dozens of applications, being online 24/7, do you feel that the technology supports you or is it sometimes disturbing? Have a look at your daily habits; test how you are feeling without cells, tablets, applications; think about how to live with better awarness of your needs and with technology that serves you, and not the opposite…

DATES:
November 8-11, 2019. Arrival November 8 (Friday) from 16:00 / Departure November 11 (Monday) after 17:00

PLACE AND FOOD

  • Dom pod Sową / Nawojów Łużycki – approx. 2 hours from Wrocław. Agritourism with a beautiful, large room for yoga and meditation practice, located among meadows, an ideal place to relax, away from attractions and major tourist routes. With the hosts who make their own bread, jams from their own fruits, collect eggs from their own chickens and if you find dairy at their place, it is only when 3 goats living in an agritourism farm decide to share their gifts 🙂
  • Accommodation in dormitory rooms (3, 4 or 5 persons) and in double rooms for couples The price list depending on the chosen option – details below.
  • Food: vegan and vegetarian. Dinner on Friday, 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on Saturday and Sunday, 2 meals (breakfast and lunch) on Monday. Healthy snacks, coffee and tea will be available in the meantime.

ACTIVITIES:
The program includes: yoga practice, mindfulness, sound ceremonies, time in silence and without mobile devices, as well as workshops – Digital Detox workshops.

PROGRAM

  • Friday November 8:
    From 4pm- accommodation
    5:30 – 6 30pm – calming yoga practice after the trip
    6:30 -7:30pm – dinner
    7:30 – 8:30pm – free time
    8:30 – 10:00pm – introduction to the Program, introduction of participants, meditation with Sound Ceremony
  • Saturday / Attention – from around 12.30 participants return their phones, laptops etc. to the organizers. Telephones will not be returned until Monday morning. Participants will be asked to provide the family and friends with a phone number to the organizers for emergency situations.
    7.30 – 9.00am – Ashtanga yoga classes in the Mysore style (for those already practicing)
    9.00 – 10.00am – yoga classes for beginners
    10.00 – 11:00am – Breakfast – porridge / millet with fruit / bread with jam
    11:00am – 1:00pm – Digital detox workshop with elements of mindfulness / deposit of mobile devices
    1:00 – 2:00 pm – dinner
    2:00 – 6:00pm – free time
    6:00 – 7:00pm – dinner
    7:00 – 8:00pm – free time
    8:00 – 19.00pm – introduction to the next day -> summary of the day, introduction to Silent Day on Sunday, meditation with Sound Ceremony
  • Sunday / Attention: from around 13:00, participants spend time in silence without talking. Instructions will be provided during the workshop at 11.00am

ABOUT CLASSES:

  • Digital Detox workshops – working together on the participants ’experiences regarding continuous online presence and functioning in multitasking culture. Gathering challenges, problems and best practices in dealing with information overload. Getting to know the tools supporting monotaskig. Planning the next steps that will help you function better and more peacefully when you return home.
  • Ashtanga yoga – dynamic meditation in movement. Classes are characterized by individual approach to the practitioner, his/her age, health condition and stamina. Regular practice of Ashtanga cleanses the body and mind, boosts vital energy level, brings balance, harmony and peace of mind.
  • Mindfulness – consciously bringing the attention to the present moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future. Mindfulness can be practised both, formally (during meditation or yoga practice) and informally (during everyday activities).
  • Sound Ceremony – deep concentration on the sounds of etno instruments, singing bowls, tank drums and others. During the ceremony you will enter a state of deep presence, which allows you to let go of your thoughts, relax your mind and body.

TRANSFER:
Particpants organize transfers on their own. After closing the list of participants, we can connect partcipants so they can travel together

 

About the teacher:
Piotr Kurpiasz – a student and teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Mindfulness. Co-founder of MindYourFulness. Experienced in working with groups as a coach, trainer, facilitator; constantly raises his competences in this area. For many years he has been exploring the secrets of working with the mind and body that allows us to lead a more conscious life. As life changing events he mentions taking part in seclusion in the Vipasana tradition and regular yoga practice in KPJAYI (Mysore, India), where he studied under the guidance of Sharath Jois. For several years he has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga and mindfulness in Wroclaw and during retreats and workshps in Poland and other countries (Switzerland, Germany, Belgium). In business, he effectively incorporates elements of yoga and mindfulness into development programs. He conducts regular yoga ashtanga and meditation classes at the “Drzewo Zycia” yoga school in Wrocław. Enthusiast of ethno instruments and sounds that soothe – he shares this passion with others during sounds ceremonies and meditation with sounds sessions.
